Uniqueness of our products: 🐾All our dog tags, cat tags and pet tags are handmade and stamped - yep letter by letter, number by number with a hammer. This means that no two ID tags are the same. The perfectionist in me tries to make all tags evenly spaced, symmetrical etc however each tag will have its own uniqueness and it won't look perfectly machine made. Tag Care: 🐾All metals do corrode (become less shiny) over time - this is a natural processed that occurs when air touches the metal and is sped up by water and salt from adventures. Metals can easily be polished back to its original state with a light metal polish, a polishing cloth, the finest steel wool or some good old fashioned tomato sauce/Ketchup! For your info - Aluminium corrodes the least, followed by Brass, followed by Copper. our Copper tags are sprayed with a metal sealer which will keep it shiny for a while but once the sealer starts to wear off then it will corrode naturally. You can also re-invigorate the black ink stamping imprints with a sharpie - draw over the tag stampings with sharpie and rub off immediately with a chux dish cloth, sometimes a bit of water is needed. Don't leave ink on or it will stain - rub off immediately.
