Vintage Surveyor's Theodolite Targets / A Collection of Vintage Hilger & Watts Surveyor's Targets in Original Canvas Bag

We are pleased to bring you this collection of rare Hilger & Watt's surveyor's targets in original canvas bag from the historic Bedwas Colliery, South Wales. Set just outside of Caerphilly, the Bedwas Navigation Colliery was considered to have the largest claimed reserves of any colliery in South Wales. Despite it being a prominent working pit in South Wales, the site frequently suffered disruption due to geological issues. This is an opportunity to own equipment used on this historic site that was recently discovered nearly forty years after the closure of the Bedwas pit. The set contains three surveyor's targets encased in a waterproof canvas satchel. Please note that there is wear and tear commensurate with age and usage.
