This silk comes from a small village in Vietnam. A traditional village named Nha Xa silk. The villagers have made great effort to preserve their traditional craft after over 600 years. Nha Xa's silk is known for quality, color and beauty better than others. ------------------------------- * This silk is made from 70% pure silk and 30% viscose. * Because our silk is hand-woven, a small error is inevitable, if you really love 100% handmade silk, be happy to skip it if you can, we appreciate your understanding. * Because our silk is dyed by hand, the color of each dye cannot be exactly the same, sometimes a little darker, sometimes a little lighter, but the quality is always the same. That is the special point of 100% handmade silk. * The size of our traditional loom is 90cm wide, so the silk width will be about 86-88cm. The biggest difference that you can easily see is that 100% pure silk will only have 1 color on a piece of silk, even if it is textured silk, the fabric background and texture are the same color. However, with silk made of 70% pure silk and 30% viscose, we can dye 2 colors on 2 different sides of the same silk (with plain silk) and the texture has a different color, outstanding compared to silk fabric background (with silk texture). Because silk is mixed with viscose, silk is also more durable, shiny, and colorful. The final choice belongs to you, carefully read the description of each product to avoid misunderstandings. Also a warning to my customers, many other sellers are selling silk mixed with other impurities but they say that the silk is made of 100% pure silk which is a lie.
