Technique: I use serti technique for painting this scarf. The lines are rendered in a silver metallic gutta (gutta is a traditional silk painting medium which is rubber based). Gutta lines can be removed in the dry cleaning process; The silk has been painted with reactive dye that becomes part of the silk during the steaming process.
