Proof Prior to Print or No Proof: This listing offers the option for you to receive a Proof of your custom words tattoo messaged to you on Etsy prior to us printing your tattoos. If you choose the Proof Prior to Print option on your Custom Words tattoo order, please be mindful of your Etsy Messages. This Proof Prior to Print option gives you the opportunity to make any small changes if necessary. After we send the Proof, if we do not hear from you within 24 hours we will proceed with the original design as is. Directions: 1. Using the pre-cut corner on your temporary tattoo, slowly peel off the clear plastic layer with your fingernail or a pair of tweezers. 2. Trim excess paper around tattoo design with scissors to eliminate any unnecessary adhesive on your skin after applying. 3. Apply the tattoo image side to your skin and cover with a damp cloth for at least 20 seconds. Make sure the entire tattoo design is covered. 4. Carefully peel back paper off of your skin and allow the tattoo to dry for at least 10 seconds. Do not touch it. 5. After allowing for dry time, your tattoo should be smooth to the touch and last between 1-3 days. To remove tattoo, wash with soap and water, baby oil or alcohol wipes. Temporary Tattoo Longevity: Once you apply the tattoo and it is fully dry, avoid anything rubbing on it and do not get it wet. If the tattoo gets wet, it will dissolve the sticky adhesive underneath. The same instance can occur if you try to adjust the placement or peel the edge after the tattoo is already applied. If you avoid any rubbing and do not get the tattoo wet it can last between 1-3 days. When choosing where to apply your temporary tattoo, make sure to choose a hair-free, oil-free, smooth area on your body that has less contact with clothing and with minimal stretching or creasing. If the temporary tattoo is placed on a part of the body that comes into contact with water or high-contact areas such as the fingers, wrist, or ribs (near the bra strap) it will likely wash off faster than an area that is touched less often such as the upper arm or ankle.
