Today we present a 1720s Gulf Shores Ocean salvaged Spanish .896 Silver 2 Reale coin, COA & Velvet gift box. This coin is larger than a quarter and has an outside diameter of 28mm. Both the bezel and chain are gold-filled over sterling silver. This handsome coin pendant is set on a 20-inch gold filled over sterling silver chain with a 2mm width. This Rare Coin was recovered during a Maritime Salvage treasure-hunting operation off the coast of Gulf Shores Alabama in the shallow waters of the Gulf of Mexico. This 300-year-old silver coin has antique toning on the edges. The coin has great details and shows obvious evidence of submersion in ocean water for many centuries the queen very obviously appears to a good sandwich in between two coins of similar size and shape that wore away the edge detail on the front over time. The authenticity of the coin is guaranteed for life and has been double-checked in every way possible including metal composition testing die variety testing acid testing and several other types of In-House Workshop testing including under 100x magnification. The reverse of the coin shows quite a bit of wear which indicates exposure to saltwater and sand. The coin also has a type of toning that indicates that it has experienced ocean conditions. The coin has an approximate 28mm outside diameter and has been secured and set into a 12kgf Gold Filled bezel pendant.
