Glass jars and lids may vary slightly depending on availability. Let’s get serious about burning candles: ** When lighting your candle for the first time, allow it burn for at least 2 to 2 1/2" hours. Failing to do so could result in poor scent throw, tunneling and fewer burn hours. ** Core candles burn differently than your typical candle. You will probably not get a full melt pool for your first burn. Be patient! ** Do not burn the candle for more than 3 hours at one time. ** Trim the wick to 1/8” each time you light your candle (yes, EVERY time!) and remove any wick trimmings that may fall into the wax. ** If your candle starts to smoke, the jar gets too hot or the flame is too big or is flickering, extinguish the candle, let cool, trim the wick to 1/8” and relight. ** Do not leave the candle burning unattended and keep away from flammable objects. ** Discontinue burning the candle when ¼” of wax remains. Why? If your jar gets too hot, the glass could break. Scoop the wax out and put it in a warmer! ** Keep candles out of reach of children and pets. ** Please keep in mind that some fragrances burn stronger than others and are subjective to each person.
