𝗜𝗧𝗘𝗠 𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗩𝗜𝗘𝗪 This item is our very popular personalized last name sign. It's the perfect addition to your home, wedding decor and photo backdrop, bridal shower, and so much more. It also makes a great wedding or housewarming gift. The sign consists of the last name and the word The. It is not for any variation of that. It is laser cut for detailed precision creating clean, smooth edges. We use quality domestic (USA made) 1/4" maple-veneered plywood that is purchased from a true wood-product distributor and not from the big-box stores like Home Depot or Lowes. Choose from multiple fonts and colors, or keep it the natural wood color. These are made to be lightweight, yet maintain rigidity and are intended to be installed/hung with the need for visible hanging hardware so to keep a clean look. We do not include any type of hanging products, these are easy to install using various methods, but we recommend using heavy duty 3M Command Strips. We provide a few hanging options in a photo listing. 𝗦𝗜𝗭𝗘𝗦 𝗢𝗙𝗙𝗘𝗥𝗘𝗗 Our standard sizes are 12, 18, 24, 30, 36, 42 and 48 inches in width (measured left to right including the word The), in your choice of unfinished (natural wood), stained, or painted. The item photos contain color charts for the stain and paint options. With the painted signs, we paint the front and sides of the sign. Font styles connect letters differently. Most letters are connected in the last name, but there are times when some letters are naturally disconnected by design of the font. The font previewer will show where letters are not naturally connected. We try our best to connect all letters within the last name, when possible. Please be aware that both the 42" and 48" signs do NOT come with the word The connected to the last name. The reasons for these not being connected is because the larger signs require more space and people want the flexibility for the placement and orientation of the word "The" due to situations with limited space. Also, when connected, it presents a much higher risk of breaking while in transit. 𝗕𝗢𝗡𝗨𝗦: If you're interested in adding EST and a year, please include that in the listing. We will add that for you at no additional charge. 𝗜𝗠𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗧 𝗡𝗢𝗧𝗘 - When entering your last name in the last name field, we suggest putting only your last name. We will add the word THE and we will make the last name plural by adding s or es, where applicable. If your name ends with s, then we will add es to make it plural. A couple of examples: ➡️Last name entered is Williams, then the sign will be The Williamses ➡️Last name is Jones, then the sign will be The Joneses Some people do not like es added to their last name when it ends with s. If you do not want that, please let us know in the Notes field. For example, you would state in the Notes field "please make the sign The Williams and do not include the es". Also, if you include the word The in the last name field, then we will make the sign exactly as you list it in that field. 👉If you select a finish option such as paint or stain, but do not select a color, we will select it for you. If you select unfinished natural wood, and you enter a paint or stain color, you will receive the sign unfinished. Also note that each font is different and will have different proportions.
