You may need to loosen your piercing by placing a regular earring in your ear BACK to FRONT, or use our Insertion Tool. Then prep the tension of your flat back: 1. Insert the pin front into the back halfway. 2. Slightly bend the pin, the pin front is held into place by spring tension from the bent pin. 3. Push the pin from all the way in and check your tension. Too loose? Try bending more. If it firmly stays in place you are ready! After you have a good tension, insert the backing into your ear BACK to FRONT, then insert the pin and squeeze together. You should hear metal rubbing or a click. Check and reset tension as needed as to not loose your top. Earring will come without tension set.
