And it is much heavier which makes them great for beginners since larger and heavier hoops are easier to keep up, and for people looking for a fun and easy core workout. They compares in thickness to a 7/8" polypro or hdpe. By DEFAULT I will make a BEGINNER HOOP at about a 38" OD diameter. It is a nice large hoop that works well for most people. Within the price tier I will make the hoop up to 40" od (or as small as 37"). For larger size requests please choose one of the upgraded size options. The INTERMEDIATE/DANCE/KIDS hoops are great transition hoops. They made 1/2" ID PE tubing, which compare in thickness to the 3/4" od polypro/hdpe hoops but they weigh more. They are great for intermediate hoopers who want to learn tricks and dance or people who just need something a little lighter than the beginner hoops but not quite as light as polypro and HDPE hoops. They are also great for children. They are heavier and sturdier than the cheap plastic hoops from department stores. They will not easily bend and break like those. By default I will make the INTERMEDIATE/DANCE hoops at 35" and the KIDS as 32". I can make the INTERMEDIATE size as large at 38 and the KIDS as small as 28". TINY TOT- New size added for the mini mini hoopers. This hoop will get made at 25" with lightweight " 5/8 HDPE tubing and NO push button...so it is NOT collapsible. Just a small, light, and cheaper option for the mini hoopers in your life. MOMMY/DADDY & ME SET - Includes Beginner/Intermediate/Dance hoop 43" or less in size & any size Intermediate/Dance/Kids Hoop up to 35". Can work well for siblings too. CLEAR PROTECTION TAPE IS OPTIONAL AS AN ADD ON - This crystal clear tape is the ame protection tape used on the fancy hoops. On the beginner hoops it is applied as a spiral to protect the Sparky/Glittery/Color Morph/Deco type tape. It WILL NOT cover the entire hoop....the electric tape is very durable and will not be covered, and any gaffers tape (certain designs only) will not be covered...because you want that texture on the exterior of hoop. ONLY the fancy tape gets covered since that is the tape most likely to tear/get damaged with use. If you plan on folding up the hoop often, it’s also a good idea to add on.
