I own this telephone. THE TELEPHONE NUMBER ON THE DIAL CANNOT BE PERSONALIZED. The design is imprinted (not decoupaged) onto these plates using dye (instead of ink), heat and pressure. These unique 5" diameter (single), 6.5" diameter (double) and 8" diameter (triple) round plates are made of one eighth of an inch thick durable hardcoated hardboard material (also known as masonite). The plates are easy to clean with a damp cloth and come complete with screws for fixing. They will not bend, buckle, discolor or fade. The finish is glossy.
