Vintage Hand Painted Shoe Trees: Art Deco Silk Fabric, 1900s

These are a pair of Vintage shoe trees from the early 1900's. They are made of silk fabric covering a metal insert. They have yellow silk flowers and are hand-painted with an art deco design. They were used to inset into a shoe to help it keep it's shape. The end pieces are wood and are attached to the metal rod inside the silk fabric. One does have some wear as in the picture. They are in fair condition considering their age but make a fun piece in your collection or just laid out on a dresser. They measure 11.5". Please e-mail me if you have any questions.
