The Leila Corset is a digital PDF sewing pattern that offers a beautiful and feminine corset top with a back zip. For enhanced support and body shaping, the corset is lined and features boning. The pattern pages are designed to be assembled by taping them together. The sizes in the pattern are layered, so you can print only the size you need, or print any size as many times as you like. Each size is marked with a different color. The "Final Corset Measurements" table provides the exact measurements of the finished corset for each size. When selecting a size, please refer to the measurements in the table, as they differ slightly from body measurements to allow for wearing ease. This will give you a clear idea of how the finished corset will fit, including front and side lengths, allowing you to make any necessary adjustments before tailoring. To achieve a shapely look, you can choose various woven fabrics, including those with a little stretch, such as coutil, dense woven cotton, linen, satin, brocade, crepe satin, cotton duck, canvas, denim, tweed, jacquard, PU leather, velvet, or any other mid-weight to heavyweight fabric. When purchasing fabric, please buy 5-10% more than required. You will need: • Fabric (main fabric and fusible interfacing) at least 140 cm wide • 7 mm or 7.5 mm wider Rigilene polyester boning • Stay tape or pieces of fusible interfacing • Open-end zipper • Matching thread Visible seam allowances are already included, so you're all set to get started.
