Vintage Silverplate Bon Bon Dish and Shakers, Quaker Silver Co.

Vintage Set of Shakers made by Quaker Silver Company, Bon Bon Dish by Noble Silver This is a vintage set of shakers made by Quaker Silver Company, Inc. They were based out of Massachusetts and founded back in 1926. They were bought out by Gorham in the late 1950s. I don't know who provided the glass for them, but I believe the designs for the shakers was Belle Kogan. The shakers are pattern 703 and they date to the 1930s. The bowl is a German made glass bowl with a silver base. The mark and logo could be a company name, but it basically translates to Noble Silver, which doesn't seem to be any German company that I can find. The design indicates it's midcentury and likely dates to around the 1960s. The glass bowl has a hobnail or diamond point design while the silver plate base features ornate scrollwork. This item was previously owned. It may have some minor scuffs and scratches that are not show well in the photo on this ad. It may have some tarnish and may need you to give it a good buffing, cleaning, or polishing. These items were not used by myself so I am unsure of any prior care them. If this item is silverplated it was lightly buffed and cleaned prior to taking photos. All my silverplate is stored in a ziplock baggy with silica sand or white chalk to keep it dry.
