Heterogenite (the black mineral) is a natural tri-valent cobalt oxyhydroxide mineral, from the Katanga Copperbelt, a region in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. About 70% of known heterogenite is located in the DRC. Size: About 2.75" x 2.2" x 1.0" at the longest, widest and thickest regions - varying. Weight: About 117g.
