How to grow: - Soak BOTTOM half in warm water for 24h, then place in well-draining soil ( cactus soil). Provide bright light and water when top half of soil is dry once actively growing. The bulb grows faster in summer. It may take 3 weeks or a month to grow their first stem. - If you receive the bulb with the bud, you dont need to do the step above. Just place half bulb in soil and water one time a day or 2 days. Dont forget to water the bottom. if the bud is broken on delivery, no worries about it, the bulb will have the new bud sooner the bulb without the bud. - If you want the round leave and long stem, place the bulb in the full sunlight. If you see the leaves and they grow in the way you don’t expect please remove the leaves and wait until they grow the new one. - Please follow my instruction carefully. I’m not 100% sure that you are successful, so after 1 month and you see the bulb is very soft that means the bulb is died. We both dont expect something like that happens. So in this case, please send me message with the video and pictures for detail, I will refund the bulb for you, the shipping fee is not refundable. I’m sorry. If the bulb still looks healthy, maybe it is in dormant state and please be patience. The bulb need time to adjust with new environment, as long as the bulb not soft, it will be ok. It can be dormant until next spring. Note: This plant is known for being a very slow grower. As long as the bulb is firm and not soft or rotten, it is still healthy and likely just dormant. Because these plants come from a tropical environment, they often need warm temperatures and the right conditions to “wake up.” In many cases, they naturally sprout in late spring or summer. Based on our customer records, some bulbs have taken up to 9 months to produce their first sprout, so patience is truly key with this variety.
