Cartridge Belt 2 PLY Our Finest Quality, 2-1/4" Wide, Top Grain, Blk, Dk Brn, Russ, Nat Oil, Custom SASS work. ======================== CARTRIDGE BELT SIZING: Please Pay Attention to this. ******We cannot process your order if you don't give us a size. *********** To pick the size for the new cartridge belt, please remember that this belt will probably be worn over your trouser belt and some outdoor clothing. So, we recommend that you select your Dress Belt size (the one you use for your trousers) as the tightest hole on the new Cartridge Belt. That way you can customize the range that you like. FAVORITE BELT: If you have a favorite dress belt, but forgot the belt size just lay the dress belt on a table and measure from the buckle end over to the most used and worn hole. What is that size? Send it to us in the PERSONALIZATION SECTION when you order. This size will become the tightest hole on your new Cartridge Belt with 8 more holes for heavy clothing. Please see the PERSONALIZATION SECTION when checking out, to add Initials and cartridge belt size. For the tightest hole selection of 38", you would have 9 holes ranging to 46". This will allow you to pick the best belt size of your choice. Your new belt will be sized to fit with plenty of extra holes (8), holes to the right of the tightest hole to allow for heavy clothing or Carharts or Waders. ============================= SASS: Custom SASS work available. =================================== RISER: If you need a bead of leather sewn to the bottom of the shell loops to raise them up a bit. The selection is kind of crowded so here is the Translation: HOLSTERS: If space for Holsters is required Please tell us which side in the CUSTOMER NOTES. The email system does not link to the order so please use the Customer Notes for special instructions. We can eliminate the initials or reduce the number of loops to fit the Holsters. Sorry, we don't make the holsters. =========================== PHOTOS: Photo 5 shows our premium colors. Russet at the bottom, black top left, dark brown top right. Photos 1-4 shows the 2-ply dark brown leather. Photo 8 shows the new, heavy duty solid brass buckle that will come with all of the 2-Ply cartridge belts. =============================== A LITTLE BIT ON THE 2PLY MANUFACTURING:- A separate piece of the same leather is cut to form the lower side of the belt. That piece is thinned on a manual tool to obtain the "top grain". So both sides now have a strong Top Grain leather. All pieces are joined by hand stitching on an Air powered sewing machine. And then trimmed to size around the edges and pointed. Then the belt is ready for hand dying the edges. The holes are punched and a coat of belt polish is added to finish the piece. The Buckle is fastened into place using a "Chicago" screw. This a flat screw that will allow the buckle to be removed if necessary. ========================== PLEASE: Remember there are no returns on these custom made orders. CUSTOM WORK: If you need the belt length to fit a smaller or larger size. Please ask for a Custom Quote to cut the leather down to size or add more leather. Typically not more than $10 extra. DARK THREAD: NO EXTRA CHARGE Some customers prefer the Dark thread be used on the Dark Brown and Black leather. Please email us to request this option or put your request in the CUSTOMER NOTES when you order. PERSONALIZATION:- NO EXTRA CHARGE TO ADD LETTERS: The Letter punch that we use has 1", Western style letters. But we do have a 1/2" letter if we need it. When you order, if you want the initials and the size to be used, please use all 3 available letter characters and the size. If we cut the leather back so that the 30" is the tightest hole, it will reduce the number of loops we can put on the belt. For instance, the most 45-70 we could put on the 30" size would be about 23. All 50 of the .22 LR would fit and all 40 of the 30-30. The cartridge holders are sewn into place with care given to the size of the cartridge so that they fit tight. Some force might be required to expand the loop for the first time. ORDERING: So, when ordering the Standard Belt size, you would choose the Standard from the Options above and then pick the size loops (caliber or gage) that you want from the other Options list. We estimate the time from order to shipping to be about 1-2 weeks.
