When creating this dress pattern, I wanted to give new ideas to those in our community who love to sew their own costumes for Ren Faire. The dress pattern is empire cut with a centre front opening. There are two closure options: lacing or buttons. The pattern also includes the option of adding a long puff sleeve, which you can easily modify in length and puffiness using elastic along the arm. If you want to wear a pretty blouse underneath to complete your medieval look, you can also sew the dress sleeveless. The bodice of the dress is lined.
