Mark the widest points with a pen or marker. Remove the tape and measure the width in millimeters. (Optional) Lightly buff the nail surface and clean with alcohol to remove oils. Select a slightly smaller adhesive tab, apply it to your nail, smooth out the edges, and peel off the film.
