Each portrait is carefully handcrafted using your pet’s photo as the main reference. Layers of wool felt are shaped and assembled by hand to recreate your pet’s distinctive expression, markings, colours and small details. Your pet’s name is added beneath the portrait in a handwritten-style design. Choose between a head portrait or a full-body portrait to create a personalised piece that best captures your pet. HOW TO ORDER Choose your preferred frame shape and size from the “Shape & Size” menu. Select Head or Full Body from the “Portrait Style” menu. Choose your preferred fabric background from the “Fabric Background” menu. Upload one bright, clear reference photo of your pet using the photo upload box. Enter your pet’s name in the “Pet Name” box. Choose Add Halo or No Halo from the “Halo Option” menu. Review your selections carefully and add the item to your basket. One pet can be included in each portrait. You can upload one main reference photo directly through the listing. PORTRAIT STYLE Head A close-up portrait focusing on your pet’s face, ears, expression and distinctive facial markings. Please upload a clear photo showing the full head without any part of the face or ears being cropped. Full Body A complete portrait showing your pet’s full body and natural pose. Please upload a clear full-body photo showing the legs, paws, tail and body markings whenever possible. The Full Body option has an additional charge, which will be shown when selected from the Portrait Style menu. ABOUT THE HANDMADE PROCESS We use your pet’s photo as the main reference when preparing the portrait. Each piece is carefully shaped, layered, assembled and finished by hand using wool felt. Some listing images were created with AI assistance to show the wool felt texture and product details more clearly. The physical item itself is handmade using the materials and construction described and will match the overall appearance shown. As every portrait is individually handmade, slight differences in colour, expression, markings, proportions and lettering are part of its unique character. PHOTO TIPS For the best result, please upload a bright, clear photo taken in good natural lighting. For a Head portrait, front-facing or side-facing close-up photos work best. Please make sure your pet’s face, eyes and ears are fully visible. For a Full Body portrait, please upload a photo showing your pet’s complete body, including their natural pose, legs, paws and tail. Please avoid blurry or dark photos, heavy filters, low-quality screenshots, distant photos or images where important features are covered or cropped. If your pet has important markings that are not clearly visible in the main photo, please send additional images through Etsy Messages after ordering. For memorial portraits, choose the photo that best captures your favourite expression or memory of your pet. SPECIAL REQUESTS For details such as a collar, favourite accessory, specific expression, memorial wording or another design request, please message us after placing your order. We will review your request and confirm whether it can be included before production begins. Some complex additions may not be suitable for wool felt or may require an additional charge.
