The terrain is printed completely solid, with the major components fully filled rather than using hollow or low infill construction. This provides a more substantial, durable feel and helps ensure the terrain can withstand the repeated handling and setup that comes with regular gaming and tournament use. While many competing 3D-printed terrain options use hollow or partially filled construction to reduce material and print time, we choose to print these pieces completely solid for added strength and durability. The high-resolution printing process helps reduce the need for sanding and finishing. A quick pass with a heat gun or other heat source can remove any minor filament strings, followed by a base coat for a clean finish ready for painting. The terrain is printed in black. Due to the moving hinges used throughout the models, black helps minimize the visibility of any contrasting filament that may become exposed if the paint chips during use. This is particularly useful with darker paint schemes. The set is shipped fully printed and pre-assembled, ready to take out of the box and place directly on the battlefield. Perfect for 28mm–32mm wargames and RPGs.
