Vintage Johann Brahm California Ceramic Trinket box, USA, 1945-1946,

Decorative Ceramic Box covered with Flower cover, Estate Sale Seller said it was his grandmother. per seller non-smoking home This beautiful Aqua/minty green with a very well made Rose on the cover is a Trinket Box or Dresser Trinket Box. It was made in the 1960's in California by Johann Brahm Ceramic. This vintage trinket box was produced in the Reseda area of Los Angeles between 1945-1956. It features a base in green that is very representative from that era, and the rose has been applied on the cover. It is the topping. The rose is highly detailed in pink. Both the base and top are glossy. It is the style of the California Art Pottery, Post WW11 boom of California Giftware. It is incised on the bottom CALI and 204 that is the mold or Style used by California Pottery. No Outside Chips, No Cracks, No Crazing that I can see. The under lid has 3 tiny chips, 1 on one corner 2 on the other corner but they are not visible from the outside. One big rose petal has a little indent, I don;t know if it was from was it was made or it happened after. It does not affect the beauty of it. Not all roses petals are perfect in nature. I know mine are not. 5 1/4 inches long, 4 1/4 inches wide, about 4 to 4 1/8 inches tall.
