They have stainless steel hypoallergenic, nickel free posts and come with a traditional clutch backing. Earrings are 100% waterproof, however, we still recommend removing for showering, bathing, and swimming. ✨ Please NOTE: If you made your purchase on or before May 18th your order has been made the with the following: A durable, lightweight plastic material. They have a stainless steel, hypoallergenic, nickel free post and come with a traditional clutch backing. We sealed them to make them water resistant, they are not 100% waterproof. We strive to maintain quality and inspect every pair. I do test the sealant with frequent water tests and trips to the parks as I am local. They are 100% handmade.
