This listing is for a set of 5 coin rings made from coins that were minted right before the start of World War 1. Each ring represents one of the major combatants at the start of the conflict. When I first started making rings out of some of these coins, I was really blown away by fact that these coins were used by people at the start of WW1, which I find to be one of the most interesting wars in history. World War 1 was completely horrific, but it also shaped our modern world in many ways. To me, these coins have a mystique or aura to them that still carries that WW1 era with them to this day. You can just feel it when you look at them and hold them in your hand. This is a one of a kind collection for a serious history buff. This set would make a great display piece in a study, but is also something you can wear. Four out of five of these rings have inscriptions on the top of the ring (from the coin edge), which makes this set look even nicer in my opinion. Please select what size and finish you want for each ring in the personalization entry. There are 3 finishes: antique, dark antique, and shiny. The listing photos show a random assortment of finishes. This rings come in sizes 7-14. The picture in the listing shows a common example of what the ring will look like. The exact look and year may be different. The amount of detail present on the inside of the ring can vary. Rings below size 9 will look much taller and narrower than the listing photo. Rings take up to 3 days to make after being purchased. Each ring may have one 6mm octopus and anchor metal stamp and one 6mm stamp to indicate the Chinese Zodiac year (2025-snake, 2026-horse, etc.) on the inside of the ring.
