This stylish beret is made for those shiny summer days. It will look great also as a dress up item for any time of year. The fabric is taken from a vintage silk scarf, the lining is 30% silk and 70% cotton. The breezy lining keeps hair smooth.The beret is lightweight, so you even will not notice that you have it on. This is handy also for travel, it will not weight luggage down. The idea to start to create these lightweight berets came to me as our summers are so hot and regular hats can be blown off the head, or the the hair gets sweaty under the regular berets. So I made a couple of these lightweight ones for myself and liked the style so much that decided to go with these on Etsy as well.
