Aluminum Guitar Pick with Hammered Texture for Added Grip and Subtle Curve for the Creative Guitarist - GP289

This guitar pick features a unique design that incorporates a hammered texture in the center for improved grip with a subtle 3 degrees of curvature created by hammering the guitar pick on a dabbing block. I sawed the guitar pick by hand from 18 gauge aluminum and finished the surface with a brush burnish and light polishing. The guitar pick plays like an ordinary pick, but allows you to use the curved surface for adding a bit of lift to the strings or raking the strings with more power than an ordinary plastic pick. In other words, this is a pick for picking and producing more of a pluck of the strings rather than a flat pick for strumming your twelve string. The 18 gauge aluminum forms a pick that is lightweight, rigid, and very strong. I can create this same pick in any thickness from extra thin to extra thick or 26 gauge to 18 gauge in bronze, copper, aluminum, sterling silver, and sometimes steel.
