i have a large pit bull she loves rolling in the dirt this sampoo works so good for her coat its thin water down sampoo but her coat shines and so soft after no itching ✨️ she smells so good a light smell after Maggie is older so to strong smells will make her sneeze so this is the best ive never complain about this products line despite of the bad reviews it works and is affordable

i used the shampoo ONCE for one bath for both my dogs and all the fleas like dropped dead off them my male dog has hotspots and had hair loss on his back from some kind of allergy we dont know but we used the shampoo and his skin wasnt dry and red anymore it was soft and smooth its amazing shampoo for only 4$ definitely will buy again and recommend to anyone who has an itchy my female dog aswell had some red irritation on her belly but after giving her the bath with the shampoo it disappeared

I HAVE USED THIS IN THE PAST, BUT THIS TIME THE LATHER IS NOT THERE AS IT SEEMS TO COAT BUT WATERED DOWN...YOU ALMOST HAVE TO USE THE WHOLE BOTTLE! AS FOR FLEAS IT WORKS .AS FOR CONDITIONING NOT AS WELL..A LITTLE DISCOURAGED BUT YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!

when I purchased this Hartz flea and tick shampoo I really had no real expectations, but I was wrong.! I have bought expensive shampoos from my vet without any significant results. my dog suffers from allergies and this has been the best solution for her skin. she scratches less and seems to have zero fleas at this point I would recommend this dog shampoo.

My 12 year old dog has very sensitive skin. She's constantly scratching and now her hair is falling out. I have tried everything from expensive shampoo , hot spots spray and oils nothing worked. After the first bath her coat feels softer and her skin wasn't as dry as before. It smells nice and has a silky feeling. The product has oatmeal in it to aid in the healing process.

Product does not work. I bathed my dog.. He is a large dog. I used a half a bottle. I let it sit on him for 20 minutes, then rinsed him through.. then I gave him a heart pro color for flea and tick. Neither one works . Fleas still alive and happy. 😢

Never again! My poor dog broke out so badly! He broke out in a rash within three hours! I took him to the vet , the next day, to make sure he was going to be all right! My own hands were covered with blotchy red spots for two days!! The warnings in the bottle were very tiny and mentions how this is considered toxic material!!

Here's your one required star. Against my better judgement, and because I needed something NOW, and this was all my local store had, I bought a Hartz brand. I really had sworn them off 18 years ago when their topical product almost killed my dog. My boys caught fleas from the neighbors dog, sneaking under my fence. One of my boys has the common bully breed flea bite allergy and when I say, we've been fighting this for 3 weeks now, I mean FIGHTING it. They attacked his head, neck and chin areas, leaving hives at every spot bitten, and have been medicating multiple hive breakouts with antihistamines and bathing. Hair has fallen out of every single spot there was a hive, and he's been miserable. This shampoo is the most worthless, watered down thin, bottle of crap I've ever bought. I spent an hour methodically scrubbing him down, from head to tail, as instructed, leaving the product to “work” the recommended time, and making sure I scrubbed every inch of him. Get him rinsed, dried, and then spent the ENTIRE night last night and this morning, watching him break out all over his body with more hives because this product didn't kill anything. Just riled them up enough to continually bite him as he cried and I picked alive and well bugs off his face, head and body. For the amount of product used, followed directions to the letter, and watching him suffer, I should have just used some Dawn dish soap. It did a way better job. This absolutely should be pulled along with every other product Hartz makes. 🤬

I used this on an Australian shepard mini that I got covered in ticks and fleas. I lathered this on and left it on then repeated and She was still covered in ticks none fell off and she was still infested with fleas. Alot of fleas. Seemed this did absolutely nothing to them so had to buy a topical medicine to get them off her . Won't buy again.
