I like to keep paper plates in stock. Butter toast on a paper plate so the cool of a glass plate doesn't cool the toast. Somes I use a paper plate to cut food on then use that plate to collect vegetable parings. Always uncoated plates, so they disintegrate quickly in the landfill.

Paper was much thinner than expected. Very flimsy compared to other brand uncoated paper plates. Needed to use two or three of them when placing food on them.

  • PERFECT For Those Lighter Indulgences
    Jul 10, 2026

I like to keep these 9" paper plates on hand for an array of different reasons. They are perfect for times when a heavy-duty plate is a waste. Think crafts, sandwiches, light munchies, and ease of use. The size provides enough space for almost any need, and purchasing the 300-count is a bargain that saves money as opposed to smaller quantities. So to me, this is a win-win, and I certainly recommend them for your lighter needs.

  • No Longer a Must Buy

Low quality plate, but that's fine because I knew what I was buying. Bought them often over the years. However, the price has gone up so much that this item is no longer a smart purchase.

  • Works for me🤷‍♀️
    anonymousJun 21, 2026

I use these mostly for other than what theyre intended for because theyre cheap and throw away. As a lid in the microwave, get them a little wet and cover a plate or a bowl of food and it steams nicely. As a cutting board when I'm making a salad or sandwich to cut up meats and veggies. Or to display condiments like tomatoes, onions, olives..etc on display on the counter for family use, not a party! They have no strength to them so carrying food other than a small sandwich is useless. Even than I center my full hand under the plate. Great for putting under food that might leak or boil over in the microwave. Im a senior and disabled, these are less work, less clean up and less expensive.

  • Disappointed that my store no longer carries these

I use these paper plates for many different things - not just to eat off of. I like the shape of the plate as it is flatter and the sides don't come up too far. It is not very thick, but I do not need a thick plate for the many things that I use it for. The price is cheaper than other plates and I appreciate that. But I am VERY DISAPPOINTED that my store no longer carries these plates. I have to order them online for now, but I fear that that option may be going away too! I use them every day.

  • You get what you pay for

These paper plates ate too thin to use more than once. I suppose it's because they are not coated that they are so flimsy. My previous experience with "low cost" paper plates allowed me to reuse the plate 2 or 3 times (with dry food/sandwiches) before disposing of the plate. These barely hold up during one use.

  • Worth the money.
    BriannaMay 21, 2026

I've been using these plates for a long time. I like using the uncoated ones to cut down on chemicals. I con't use them for most wet stuff for that reason, just dry food like sandwiches. I do put pizza slices on them sometimes, and I use maybe three plates together to keep the cheese from leaking through.

  • Uncoated Paper Plates
    LouiseMay 20, 2026

These plates are good if they are doubled. I don't want to use the coated plates, especially to put in the microwave since I don't know what the coating in made out of. This is the reason I buy the uncoated ones,

  • Plates glued together
    anonymousApr 30, 2026

I have been using these for several years. The last purchase I made will be my last purchase. Every other plate is glued to the next plate. These are expensive as it is and then this??? I am done with Walmart. Ordered online for delivery and didn't get half my order. My last order didn't even get delivered. I could see the tracking and the driver turned back to the store. Thankfully refunded my money but would have preferred what I ordered. Too many other options for shopping to have to deal with this.
