Wonderful design

Wonderful exterior sconce lamp! Simple design, looks great, and was fairly easy to install. This replaced an older outdoor wall sconce that lights a garden section in my backyard. This one allows you to install any standard bulb of your choice (LED or incandescent) as long as it will fit inside the glass casing. I installed a 60 watt LED equivalent and it looks and works great. General quality is very good and the matte black finish looks modern and classy. Hopefully it will last a long time. The previous one did not, even though it was stainless and we don't get much rain here in Southern California. Installation instructions are included in the box as well as wire nuts and a mounting plate. If you have basic home wiring knowledge and skill, it is quick and easy to install. Took me about 5 minutes. Traditional white, black, and green(ground) wires to connect. I'm very happy with this sconce light so far.

For the price, this is a great wall sconce that upgrades the look of your outdoor (or indoor) lighting! Lightweight black metal lantern with a clear glass interior surround for the bulb. The bulb is NOT included so remember to buy one before installation. Maximum is 60 watts. This light gets hardwired to your wall and the hardware is included (see pics). Lightweight fixture (less than 3 pounds) so it's easy to hold while installing. My only negative is that the inner glass enclosure attaches to fixture by screwing in the black metal "sleeve" which butts up to the glass where the bulb goes and I was worried that if you tighten it too much, it will crack the glass. Would have been nice if they had a rubber or plastic seal at the top hole of glass globe to lower the risk of cracking. Just be careful to not over tighten on this step of installation. the bottom is open to allow easy replacement of bulb. All in all, I like the fixture and I think it looks more expensive than it is!

This Cattleya outdoor wall lantern looks great, and accepts regular light bulb bases so will take many types of bulbs. It's easy to put together, and includes very detailed instructions if you need them. My husband installed this, and he said that lights made in China are always slightly "off" our base holes for fitting them into existing electrical base, so installation is not as easy as he'd like. However, we have an older home and perhaps the issue is on our end. Very nice, updated look for our outdoor lights.

Love this light. They came quickly, packaged well and appeared just like the photos/description. We replaced some very outdated sconce lighting on our back porch and couldn't be happier with this choice. The open end of the cylinder makes it super easy to change out the bulb. Just be careful when screwing the black base and glass cylinder - if you tighten it too far the glass may crack at the top.
