I have not received this item to date and time. It is supposed to be delivered today. I wish I would have had an option to PICK UP at store. It did not allow a PICK UP order even a few days later than ordered.

I love this flake fish food. it has color enhancements without clouding the water. I have fan tailedv guppies and have used this product for many years. This large bottle makes it much more economical. Just pinch it if you need smaller pieces. It even feeds the baby fish!

While affordable, and having used it in the past, most fish don't eat fish, and that's what this product is...dried fish. I prefer now to use insect larvae, as it is more nutritious for fresh water fishes.

great fish food a little bit expensive but worth it because the fish love this food I ground it up in my hand to make it more powdery so they can easily eat it I would say the quality is worth the cost although they don't sell much other fish food to compare it to
- Great valueAngelaJan 17, 2026
This is a huge container. It is also latge flakes they are not all tiny and broken up which I like so I can crumble it as I put it in the tank as small as I like. This will last my 4 tanks forever. I love it. Great value.

Within 6 days of feeding this to my fish, I have lost over 20 happy, healthy fish. Turns water to cloudy, fish come up to eat it and then turn upside down and are struggling and then die...and I have had fish Aquarians for over 25 years. This food is bad. Walmart doesn't seem to know what to do.

I have been a fish keeper for many years, over five decades. I have used this fish food as long as I can remember. It is well liked by all fish and it does not make the water cloudy. If it makes it to the bottom, it pretty much holds together until eaten. Ford fry, I just crumble it up in my fingers as I feed and they do not seem to have any trouble eating it. Would recommend this food to everyone, beginner to expert.
- My tropical fish and goldfish love this food!seeseeriverFeb 9, 2013
When I first started a tank I was an idiot and had my goldfish and tropical fish all in one tank. Luckily I kept t clean enough so that I had no fish loss but I got lucky. During this time my goldfish ate the tropical food just fine. I got a bit smarter at fish keeping and bought my goldfish some actual goldfish food and they did not like it nearly as much. So now I use this for both tanks and all are fat and healthy! I buy this big size and refill a 2oz canister I've had for a while with it. I put the remainder of the large container in a freezer bag and keep it in the freezer until I need to refill the smaller container again. Thus far this has worked great. The food don't go stale and the amount of money you save is stupid!
- Great fish foodLydia610Dec 19, 2012
I had always used this brand of fish food. My fish always showed excitement when they saw the container. I bought a mail order store brand because it was cheaper. My fish would hardly eat it, let alone get excited. I went back to Tetramin, the fish returned to they're "excited" behavior. I decided to take a loss for the cheaper brand, and went back to Tetremin. My fish are large angle fish, and show a definite preference for the Tetramin fish food.
