It runs completely silently with no loud, startling zapping noises or burning smells, careful where you hang it as all the flys in the neighborhood will come to the party! The heavy-duty bag fills up over several weeks, trapping thousands flies inside a self-contained drowning pool. enter easily through the specialized top funnel but cannot find their way back out, keeping them permanently trapped. Once the bag is full or dries out after 30 days, you simply toss the entire unit directly into the trash without ever touching sticky paper or dead bugs. If you have a farm, a chicken coop, or a major backyard fly problem, this bag is a miracle worker that works better than any zapper or sticky ribbon. Just be sure to hang it downwind and far away from where you plan to sit and eat

- Really worksLindaJul 10, 2026
I've been using these for a couple of years. Once you follow the directions and get used to how they work, they are fairly simple to use. They run out of water after a while in the heat and need replacing (and also fill up with flies as they absolutely do work). They are hung in trees or from shepherds hooks around my deck around my property. During the 4th of July we were only bothered by one pesky horsefly which was a miracle with over 40 guests outside eating.
- screwwotm is here, put these everywhereanonymousJul 1, 2026
I saw a little fun probably only a couple days old that had just some scrapes on it and was completely being eaten alive by screw rooms maggots and flies and they're everywhere around here. I am putting these everywhere to try to get as many of these flies as I can. the horses the deer everything is covered with these flies!!! this trap works. it says 30 days but I'm filling them up every few days because I'm getting thousands of flies!!!
- attracts A TON of flieslexiJun 27, 2026
i got these because there were always a handful of flies around my trash cans, so i put it out one evening next to the cans. the next day, the number of flies was ASTRONOMICAL. i went from having maybe 10 flies to having at least a hundred in the trap and around it. it's clearly very effective but it also REALLY attracts more flies and worsens a minor annoyance. also, it's difficult to get rid of once it's full (which it was totally full of flies in less than two days) without spilling dead or dying flies all over the trash cans, which is what was attracting flies and got me to buy these in the first place.
- Hang them high/ lost two to the puppyanonymousJun 24, 2026
The first week of flies had started up and I had at least a dozen inside like every year. I decided I needed to stop them while they were outside so I searched for an outdoor fly trap and came across this. It has great reviews and collects so many flies. I hung one up outside the front door first and that practically did all the work. but decided to hang one up by the chicken coop and after that one in another location in the back yard. I would honestly do a few more if I could find some more easy locations. Hang them high. dogs will go for them.
- It definately catches the flies.JonathanJun 19, 2026
I used this to make a path safe near my home that was terribly covered in bugs. I thought at first it would catch mosquitos, but instead it caught different flies like house flies. I think these flies are coming from my neighbors home. I think the flies live in an ecosystem that is depandant on diferent factors. Overall, I think it does make your camping experience or your outdoors experience more livable, safe and inviting.
- WORKS TOO WELL - I DON'T RECOMMEND- READ REVIEWWilcox1976Jun 9, 2026
THIS THING, RECOMMENDED BY A FAMILY MEMBER WORKS TOO WELL! IT ATTRACTS FLYS LIKE CRAZY. IF YOU ARE TRYING TO GET RID OF SOME FLYS BUZZING AROUND THIS ACTUALLY ATTRACTS MORE OF THEM! THEY DO GET INTO THE TRAP AND DIE, BUT THERE ARE SO MANY OF THEM! AFTER TWO WEEKS THE SMELL IS SO BAD, BAD BAD. "JUMP START A VOMIT" BAD. NO, I'M KIND OF SORRY I BOUGHT THESE. MY WIFE DIDN'T THINK SO, BUT SHE DID NOT HAVE TO DEAL WITH IT. I CAN OLY IMAGINE WHAT MY NEIGHBOR MUST HAVE THOUGHT OF THE SMELL! BLESSINGS, JOHN 20:29
- BUY THIS! They really work.KATHLEENOct 19, 2025
These fly traps are the cat's whiskers! Don't wait until the flies get really pesky in August - why let them breed all that time? That just turns 100 flies in 10 million to have to catch! Hang one out when you see the 1st fly, in May or June. If you have a lot of flies like next to a stable or a refuse pile, you might need to replace them once a month. Unbelievably, one trap lasted me all summer this year, but it was full to the top with thousands of flies, and this is the 1st year I've used only one. You won't regret buying and using these! Just make sure you hang them in a sunny location far from the house and people area because they really do Stink with a capitol S!

I never thought that this would work so well. Hung it up away from the deck. It was party time for the flies. That thing filled up and flies were still going in. I bought more. Kept them flies away from me. We started leaving our patio door open. Thinking about hanging one on the other side. Just keep in mind when you go to remove it, it’s a bunch of dead flies. It’s going to stink. Have a bag ready

I’ve not had issues with flies until this year. The first one I bought filled up so fast and started stinking so bad and fast I had to dispose of and ordered a second one. It filled up so fast and I ordered another one then I decided to order two more. I still have one hanging and one not used yet but I will say this the flies have slowly went away.
