this was supposed to be dishwasher safe, but it is absolutely not. first time I put it in the dishwasher it melted the top that's why I bought this because I have hard water and I wanted to be able to clean it easier hence the dishwasher safe it is very clearly not.

Rhe size is bigger than I expected but my Jay stays alone up to two days monitored by a feeding snack camera,so is great to know that he has water for those two days if needed and more,never know when an emergency may arise. He's a maltese so is great for a fur baby like him he is 8 pounds. but it would be great for a bigger dog. I recommend this item.

I have two now, I have two pitbull's and now with both of them it averages out about once a week. I have to clean them and refill them when I only had the one I was having to do it every 2 to 3 days and my poor dogs were getting thirsty when I forgot, so I'm glad I got a second one now they each have their own. I totally think it's a great product and I highly recommend it.

It's a good item. But the downfall for me was, well actually for my dogs. Would be the noise it made every time more water would despense. And that noise scared my dogs, to where they wouldn't drink from it. I do recommend this item, because it worked good and was convenient. Not every dog may experience the same issue as my dogs did.

My only real complaint is that my rotten little cats like to play in the water dish and when the water in this gets junk in it you have to carry the whole assembly to the sink and remove the reservoir in order to wash out the bowl. Otherwise it's a good product and your pets always have water.

makes giving 3 dogs and a cat water much easier. The only thing that I would change is the jug needs carrying handles to go from tub to kitchen. heavy with no handles! also the bowl takes a quarter of the water from the jug upon filling. have to Pre-fill the base bowl before I install the tank Lasts 4.5 days with 4 pets drinking from it

I've been looking for a water bowl that I can use with 1L soda bottles but cant find those anymore. So I got this one because im tired of filling up the water bowl. Its 1.5 gallons so instead of filling up a big bowl 2x a day, I fill this every 3 days. So much easier on me. My little Chihuahua is still a little afraid of it lol but the bigger pup is happy with it.. it looks nice too.

i like the amount of water it holds. I got it for my ducks so they would have water all day. Its hard getting it through their cage door only because its heavy . one full bottle last them 2 days. I alway thought they cant be drinking all that water in that short time. Till 1 day i caught them taking turns taking a bath in it. If i had a bigger cage i would get another one. It was worth the price seening them enjoying all that water.

The water bowl itself is actually fine and works well. However, I didn't read the description well. It holds a gallon and a half of water and is very heavy. I was unable to turn it upside down with water in it.
