Purdy XL Sprig Paint Brush, 2-1/2 in.

Im not sure what going on with Quality Control on these brushes. One minute into my project I notice a brush hair came loose. No problem. I picked it off the wall Then another, and another and another. Oh my gosh I was fighting a losing battle picking hairs out of my paint job the whole way through. Definitely not what I would call a premium brush. These were the higher priced brushes in the store also. Will not buy this brand anymore and cannot recommend it to anyone,

No matter the job , I love how everything is streak free. I love the softness and flexibility of them . And how dense it is at the same time . I would definitely recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The quality of this brush is superior. I'm going to have a hard time using it for the first time. It is medium hard and XL in size. I love that the brush comes with a Sticker that indicates the name of the person who made it, that adds value. Even the packaging looks quality. When we are frequent crafters it is important to have quality brushes that you know will last. Definitely recommended.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have ALWAYS been a huge fan of Purdy brushes. It pays to spend a bit more on a fantastic paint brush. I've been painting interiors for years now and Purdy brushes are my first choice. I am always super careful not to get paint in the ferrule and diligent about cleaning my brushes thoroughly. I love that Purdy sells their brushes with a cover to protect it allowing me to use the brush for many, many years.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great brush to use for outside projects! To stain wood you need to have a brush that is on the stiff side of things! Super easy to use and doesn't pick up more product that what it should !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used purdy in the past and love these for both stain and paint. They even do well with oil based stains/paints. This one is a great size for larger projects. I'm using it to seal a dresser I stained.

Went for job interview yesterday they wanted me to cut in a door for them I pulled this Purdy Moose out they looked at it and said oh no that brush is wore out I said nah this is a Purdy it'll shape back up once it hits the paint so I painted the door and got the job now they want to buy me some more of Purdy brushes. The Purdy Moose and Purdy Swann brushes are the 2 best brushes ever made and as all Purdy brushes will last you a lifetime if properly cleaned I give em a 10 star rating. You wanna make your House Pretty buy a Purdy!!!

This brush w/ a 2 1/2"or 3" ferrel is one of the best trim brushesi have ever used. Straight sash for all casings and the angled sash for window and door panes or grids. You just cant beat this brush. Purdy is built to last. You take care of this brush, it will..... take care of you.
