Rubbermaid 8.3 gallon trash can

This trash can replaced the same type that we had for about 20 years. It does seem a little lighter than the previous trash can, and I wish it came in more colors. The old one was beige.

Delivery instructions not followed damage box was left in outer public lobby and top was missing for trash can
I love the step on can it stays cleaner and germs.

I love my garage can. I had the same one in white for many years and the top finally broke. I got this one in the new color. It looks great in my small kitchen with my stainless appliances. I love the fact that when I'm cooking I can just open the lid with my foot. I love the convenience.

I like it all around very well. Putting in bags "just so" at every change can be a hassle to make sure the lid operates properly, otherwise I'd give it 5 star but for the time and trouble to reset the lid after each bag change.. Id hate to pay the money for a stainless steel bucket and go through the same hassle and possible dents or having the sensor (so popular in SS) , not work.

Absolutely god awful design. Step detaches from the lid so after the first step open, it doesn't close. After closing it manually, the step no longer functions.

This is my favorite can, not too big and should last a long time. The extra charge for color gray is wrong but I wanted this can.

We ordered the metallic gray color for $15.78 plus $1.12 tax and while it is a good product, the one we received had several deep scratches on the front surface. We returned it for that reason which was a trouble-free procedure.

Hard to find this can at a reasonable price, we use it for boating & it's perfect, foot pedal top up and down, no trash blowing around & they sell the bags to. Thanks Walmart-
Efficient and inexpensive trashcan

I ordered this trashcan to replace one exactly like it that I've used in my kitchen for 21 years! The old one finally broke at the hinge. This one is the same model but in grey. The grey is a better color for my kitchen now; the old one was beige which is no longer available. This is not large but holds a tall kitchen garbage bag. Step on the "pedal" and the lid lifts then closes. Simple, effective.
Maybe I received a bad one...

After seeing such good reviews, I was looking forward to receive this trash can. But the foot pedal did not work on the one I got in mail. The lid only opened half of the time when stepping on the pedal. Maybe it was just bad luck that the one I got was poor quality. I returned it for sure.
