Duracell EasyTab 312 Hearing Aid Batteries, Size 312 - Brown, 16 Pack

The packaging is unsuitable for the product. Scissors are required to get each battery out of the package. The cardboard and plastic are thick and hard to cut. My opinion is many senior citizens will need an assistant to help each time a battery is needed. I called Duracell . They said this a government requirement.

Don’t buy this product unless you have a box cutter, 15 minutes, and lots of patience. 15 minutes is how long it took to extricate one battery in this package. Took me so long because I was trying not to slice open my finger with the box cutter. Picture is deceiving because it is not the typical spinning wheel package jthat rotates this battery into an escape patch. You literally have to cut the battery out of the plastic. Next time I will buy this Duracell battery from a vendor who has the “easy to remove“ packaging.

The package is almost impossible to open. If there was any way to dispense the batteries I couldn't find one. The tab on the battery is too small for anyone with large hands or any co-ordination difficulties. I would not buy this for an elderly person.

Love the batteries. I would just like to be able to get them out of the blister pack without risking amputation. Very difficult to get them out of the package.

Excellent power. I use them for hearing aids and get 3-4 days between changing compared to cheaper generic brands that only last 2-3 days. The child proof packaging is very annoying considering I’m older and I have to have someone younger open them up for use.

I do not recommend this item because it is unusually hard and tedious to access the wrapped product. Should you purchase this item a pair of sharp scissors or very sharp knife and a bit of finger dexterity is necessary to get at those little batteries. Yeah, the packaging is terrible, big time.

The new packaging is absolutely ridiculous. It might be "child safe" but I almost cut myself opening the packages. My grandma can't even open them because she has arthritis in her hands. They couldn't think of a better way to do this? Now, the batteries are just dangerous in a different way. My other complaint is that half the batteries are always dead. ALWAYS. I do not care for this brand. Buy Rayovac instead.

Packaging too difficult to access product easily, Older folks are generally ones who need hearing aids. Why make it a struggle-we already have to deal with seals, caps, too tight lids with our arthritic fingers. Packages used to be little rotation and bingo. For Christ’s sake— so frustrating!.

These hearing aids are for older people! This kind of packaging is absolutely impossible to get into! 😬 It’s good they’re making them child proof but surely there’s a way to order some kind that are easier to get into for older people!
