Seems braided is the only option these days. This cord is new, unopened and as described.

  • Great for repurposing vintage aluminum chairs
    anonymousJul 3, 2025

I used this cord to weave into a seat for a vintage aluminum chair. It was easy to work with and didn't fray. It does have a slight 'give' to it when sitting on the completed chair, but that's probably to be expected. I've already bought more to craft another chair seat.

What we ordered was promptly delivered. The second package came shortly after. And it was what we needed. Thank you..

when i ordered this it said 3 day to receive, but i only received 1 of the three things in 3 days, then one more in 8 days then the final in 20 days. they were all the same thing from the same company yet it took forever to get my items.

Bought the cord to restring the seat of a ladder back chair. It worked out beautifully, very happy with the result.

  • Great for Macrame
    TarymcOct 23, 2016

I use to do macrame crafting a lot in the 70s. I love working for raw macrame jute, but it is tough on the hands. This stuff is easy to tie and looks great.

Having bought this cord many years ago, I was very happy to see it still available. It is being used to make a hanging Christmas tree.

  • Glad to find some Macrame cord
    AriadnecaninebullNov 15, 2013

I looked around and macrame is making a comeback! Well I learned to macrame when I was 10 and made stuff for years. I drug out my old cord I had and I really needed white. Most of the new items are made of smaller cord. However I have friends who want all kinds of stuff! I thought the price was high until I realized the length on this roll is twice that of the roles I used to buy. Just remember it is a lot of cord! Also it is thick-just what I wanted.

The pictures are correct, this is Bonnie Craft Cord, and not the Pepperell Braiding as the product description and title infer. Good stuff for my needs
