This squirrel and bird feeder features a spiral wire body with a hook to hang it. The red wreath blends beautifully with the surroundings, so birds and squirrels won’t fear the food source. This peanut wreath feeder gives squirrels their own food source and keeps them away from bird feeders. The spiral wire takes a little effort to remove peanuts, which keeps squirrels occupied for hours. The outside diameter of the squirrel feeder is 13 inches, and the inner diameter is 7 inches. The diameter of the spring is 2.75 inches. The bird feeder holds approximately 5 cups of whole peanuts. Songbird Essentials squirrel food feeder makes an excellent gift for squirrel lovers or a great outside decor item for your yard or garden. This squirrel feeder for outside is very easy to fill, and the hook provided enables ease of hanging on any standard bird feeder pole or from a convenient tree.

I was a bit surprised at how big this is. Metal is strong and sturdy, which made me wonder how the birds and squirrels were going to get them out! I filled it up and the Bluejays, woodpeckers and squirrels came flocking. Peanuts were gone in a day so I'm using this as special treat to fill just once a week or 2 weeks. It really makes it fun to watch all of the critters come and eat out of the wreath!

Our Downy woodpeckers went to the feeder right away. Blue Jays come are around too. Honestly not like I thought they would but I don't mind. We love bird watching out our front window and I throw handfuls of peanuts to the Jays.
- Does not workDonaldJun 6, 2024
Quality of material and construction are great, but the coils are so close together that the birds can't get the peanuts out.
- Durable Bird FeederElizabethDec 23, 2023
The bird feeder is made of durable material and is a good size. Although no blue jays have used the feeler, yet, it has survived rough handling by the squirrels.
- Decent conceptBFNov 17, 2023
It seems to work ok as stated. I feel it's a little overpriced for what it is but it helps makes peanuts last longer so I guess that saves money.
- Works as meant to but is useless in my yardKimberlySep 18, 2023
Holds the peanuts well but is a bit difficult to fill up. Mostly though, the birds aren't really interested in the peanuts and neither is any other wildlife.

Ok I guess. Just don't like to hang things.
- A great feeder for squirrels and birdsBEGPAJun 18, 2022
This works great to feed whole peanuts to the squirrels and birds. I was looking for something metal that the squirrels won't chew and this seems to work perfectly.

Peanuts fall through the mesh--too wide. May try shelled peanuts, but who knows?
- The birds are having a field day with it.DriverOfTheDeadAug 23, 2016
Great for birds. A waste of peanuts for squirrels. We like it but squirrels will empty it too quickly.
