I needed a side-opening carrier for my feral cat so that I could get her to the vet to be spayed without being scratched to pieces. This carrier was perfect! My cat weighs about 9 pounds, and there was plenty of room for her in this easily=assembled carrier. Made of very sturdy plastic that snaps together in less than 2 minutes. I put a towel inside, and she basically walked right in and made herself at home. Other carriers that open from the front were a nightmare to use with her, but this one was a dream. Removing her after spaying surgery was easy with the side opening and emotionally comfortable to me because I didn't have to worry about stretching out her stitches during the transfer from the carrier to her enclosed recovery space. Easily folds almost flat for storage. I would recommend this carrier to any pet owner whose pet hates carriers.

I liked the item, but one of the top latches would not work and we had to return it. I saw that the pin holding the latch was not fully pushed into the slot and I was afraid to try and fix it, so we returned the carrier. I would have given a 5 Star review, if the product had arrived properly. Maybe the company needs to do a little more quality control and inspect items before shipping.

It will not hold a 25lb dog or cat . Or any real weight %26 if your fur baby moves around too much the clips to lock will unlock. The weight from the fur baby pushes down and makes the sides fall in. This is crap. Get a better design for a collapsible carrier. This is really for a stuffed toy animal. If your child wants to pretend to carry a real pet this is perfect. BUT DEFINITELY NOT FOR A REAL ANIMAL. IT WILL BREAK APART. I wish Walmart would let me post video, it would show exactly what I'm talking about and solid proof.

So, I've taken one of my cats to the vet a few times, and every time it was stressfull. All times, I borrowed my ex's carrier, and this time, I wanted my own. I searched online and felt this one was so welcome, so I bought it. one of the best decisions ever! Stormy was so calm from the moment she got in till we got home. No issues at the vet, purring and actually slept at the vet, and calm in the car. I decided to leave it out at home to familiarize them to it. I have 3 cats. They ALL love it!! Even put their toys in it. I really appreciate the vents, the sturdiness, and easy access. Definitely recommend!

My cat loved sleeping in it. We put it down weeks before moving 11 hours away! The padding included was definitely a winner. The size is more than ample and is very lightweight. During our travels, we would let her out on occasion with boundaries where she couldn't get up front under driver's feet! There was a time where I had to get her in quickly. She was able to get out due to my not lining the locks up correctly. If you are aware of this, it's definitely worth it. She won't go near it now since the trip hahaha

Liked the collapsible feature, side door makes it easy to load and unload pet and is more convenient for veterinary staff. Only reason for 4 stars is that it is heavy and a bit awkward for an older person to carry after adding a 10 pound pet!!

I did buy the largest size and it is bigger than expected. I've already taken one cat (not pictured) to the vet for a checkup and it was the most relaxed car ride %26 vet appointment he's ever had. As you can see from the pictures, the other cat approves, as well. It is much easier to get them in and out of this vs the traditional rectangular carriers and so much better than the fabric ones. I am very pleased with the purchase so far.

These cat carriers worked out great. Needed 2 of the small-medium size and 1 of the XL . There was plenty of room for my smaller female cats and the XL for my male cat due to his length was plenty comfortable for him during our move from FL to Indiana. Long hrs of travel but all 3 did great and I credit these carriers for that. Seat belts can be fed through the top handles to secure in place. I placed the carriers in their kitty room with the blankets in them and left the doors open so they could get used to them prior to traveling. Highly recommend.

This product is falsely advertised! It does not come with a bed! My package arrived today and the XL waterproof bed, that was advertised to have been sold with this product, was not included. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! I spent $49.99 plus tax on a a falsely advertised product!
