NOW Supplements, Magnesium 400 mg, Enzyme Function*, Nervous System Support*, 180 Veg Capsules

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been loving using this Magnesium every night before bed. I started prioritizing magnesium when I was pregnant to help with leg cramps but continued the use every night to help relax me before bed and soothe my nervous system. I noticed it helped me fall asleep much easier. This one specifically has been the best, as it is only one capsule and contains multiple types of magnesium and is 400 mg. Very easy to take! I won't ever be going without this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a great addition to my nightly routine to help my muscles relax and sleep better. Before taking this, I would often toss and turn in the early morning hours because I was uncomfortable. Being 41, my sleep has progressively gotten lighter and lighter but this seems to relax me just enough. There were no bad side effects; groggy or foggy brain the next day. But an added bonus is a reliable bathroom trip every morning.

These Magnesium supplements by NOW seem to continue to help me, however from time to time they don't seem to work as well as others, but could just be age/ weather working against them. These particular NOW brand 400MG Magnesium caps have become a little harder for me to find in store so I've had to order the last few bottles online. Similarly to the way I had to buy a different brand Biliberry (I use for eyes) , before it became completely unavailable. Fingers crossed this isn't the same though it feels like it.

I prefer the soft capsules but these are okay. Magnesium is recommended along with Vitamin K2 for absorption of Vitamin D3. Vitamin D alone cannot be absorbed by the body and is simply stored. K2 and Magnesium together with the D3 work to allow absorption by the body. Before Covid I was put on a prescription Vitamin D three separate times and my Vitamin D level remained in my boots, very Low level. When Covid hit us I had learned, so I began to take 10,000 and then 20,000IU of D3 with 500 mg Magnesium and 100 mcg K2. At my next check up my Vitamin D level was thru the roof. When I got Covid a couple months ago it was a mild case, and my lungs were not affected (no breathing difficulties). I’m considered elderly and was told it was because my immune system is strong that my body handled Covid so well. I also take Zinc, NAC, Nattokinase Enzyme (to dissolve fibrins in the blood that produce blood clots), and Krill Oil; these are all very important to fight Covid and the many side effects of the vaccine.

Ive used another brand of magnesium for years for leg cramps and they've always worked until a few months ago, and so I upped the dosage but after a short while, that did not work either. So, I read the reviews on this one and thought Id give it a try. Well, Im glad I did because it started working after the first dose! No more leg cramps when I go to bed! Its amazing!
