It would be nice to have an on/off button instead of just plugging it in to turn on (seems a bit unsafe), and it would be nice to have a temperature control (it runs a bit hot), but most of these cheaper devices work the same way. Overall it's very easy to use, and for the price I paid it's great. My favorite feature is the handle, because it's much safer than other models that lack that (burns hands).

- It Works, But…DonnaJun 27, 2026
No way to adjust the temperature. When it is plugged in it is on. The top doesn't raise enough at the back hinges to go over the sandwiches in back, so it pushes them forward when lowering it. It did work well, and grilled the paninis to a crispy sandwich with panini grill marks.
- Fix the hinge release please.BlakeJun 26, 2026
The hinge mechanism does not work very well for larger sandwiches - burned myself 2x trying to get the hinge to release for a larger ham and cheese. Still squeezed out of the front facing side. I like it but just wished the hinge mech worked better.
- Impressively Hot!Jun 21, 2026
Overall I was satisfied! Turned out it was a little smaller than I thought. Box sez 4 slices which Is kinda deceiving. My first thought was big enough for 4 sandwiches w/lid closed but reality is 4 slices means 2 sandwiches with a total of 4 slices of bread. My first cook were 2 hamburger patties with the lid closed pressed. Mistake! The grill plates get impressively hot and when pressed down the patties cooked way to quick and were burnt. So next cook I kept uncovered and used both grill plates for 4 patties and added onions, green and red peppers, ect an even tho the plates were still super hot I was able to manage and cook the patties to my liking! You definitely want to experiment! Again, overall satisfied bu if I purchased again I would invest in a bigger unit!

Though I liked this product as afar its functionality is concerned, I think it would be great to have a heat adjustment knob on this . There are certain food that needs low heat to be cooked especially when we use it as a griller. It quickly heats up and burns those items . I am happy to send it this back to you and pay you some extra bucks to have one with a heat control knob though this one works really well . Thanks
- THE PICTURE IS A LIE.ToddMar 22, 2026
It just hinges in the back. It does not come down flat. You cannot press a large sandwich like the ones in the picture. It's like a slightly larger Foreman grill
- Inaccurate description and web pictureVictoriaJan 28, 2026
It squishes a sandwich on one side, where the griddle folds. The picture of the item is inaccurate-it shows the sandwiches of even height. It basically doesn’t have a mechanism to have the top evenly pressing the bread. Very deceiving images-basically misrepresentation.
- Fantastic Product!SgGgJan 16, 2026
I love my new grill/griddle! The pice was great for the quality of the product. The only drawback is that it cooks Really Fast, almost to fast. Mind you though, my cheese is melted, and my bread browned well, just don't walk away. Other than that, the set up and clean up is a breeze! I also LOVE the way that it turns into a grill! Easy Peasy ALL the way!
- Makes great food!AmyJan 9, 2026
This makes really great sandwiches. We have had a couple makers before, but they didn't compare. It made a world of difference in the flavor of the sandwiches we have made. The hinge making it able to cook taller foods is really nice. The only draw back is that it is not the easiest to clean. You have to be careful to not scratch the nonstick surface, but still need to get it clean and you can't submerge it. Nothing sticks to it too bad though. And it is worth the effort! It also heats really quickly, so you don't have to wait long for good flavor!

I love this little grill! I have put my old toaster in the giveaway bag. I like to leave my bread on the grill, whether it be Sara Lee 9 Grain Wheat or SL Brioche buns, for several minutes until it is scored and crispy - yes, grilled bread, the best! I don’t pay attention to the red and green indicator lights since I leave the bread in longer. I don’t put any spray or liquid oil on the grill, and just wipe the grill surfaces with a damp paper towel after it is completely cooled off. I put my whipped butter or olive oil on after grilling, then pop it in the microwave for 8-10 seconds to warm it up. I make really good grilled cheese sandwiches using the Brioche buns and slices of sharp cheddar. I watch it pretty close so I can take it out before the cheese starts dripping. I use short silicone-tipped tongs so the grilling surface doesn’t get scratched. I read all the instructions before I used it and saw the warning about not touching edges/surfaces; however, I barely touched it and boy, was it hot! One touch and I learned my lesson. I always unplug the grill before I open it to remove the bread, as suggested in the manual. That way, it doesn’t get left on accidentally, potentially leading to accidental burns. I highly recommend this little grill, ideal for single-person usage.
