I've been using Joan of Arc dark red kidney beans for many years because they are consistent in quality, size and taste. These beans are not mushy, but hold their shape no matter what dish you prepare with them. They seem to be larger than other brands also. My only problem is they have gone up in price and Walmart does not carry them all the time. I still prefer them over other brands.

I received a dented can that looked as if Godzilla had stomped on it. How could any shopper have selected an obviously damaged food item.

I ordered these to put in chili because the brand I normally get was sold out. The texture is hard. They feel like they aren't done and are crunchy. Very disappointed because they ruined the whole meal. Will go with another brand in the future.

I live these beans. I am a vegetarian so I use them a lot. I like to make bean patties and vegetable chili. They are very good.
