Everlast Dual Station Heavy Duty Powder Coated Steel Heavy and Speed Bag Stand

This thing was packed from the manufacturer like a child putting his toys away in the closet (shoved and crammed until the door can be shut). Then surprise all of it falls on mom when the door opens. Absolute nightmare trying to get all the bolts and such together because they fell out of the packaging all over the place. Scratches, scuffs, etc.

Right side of the unit from the bag side is a little off to where it's not very even. Gotta put a lot of weights to keep it stable. I put 100lb on each side and it still shakes pretty good I could stack more if the rod was longer which will make it better

Everlast customer service was horrible. The assembly of the unit was challenging especially when the self locking nuts were poor quality and stripped out freely. They didn't even bother to provide extra spares. Everlast customer service just pushed me aside and told me to deal with it with retailer. I hope Everlast improves otherwise their company will tank.

The driver followed directions and left the package as requested. I really appreciate that. However, I did not put the item together. Yet i will be doing so soon and I will leave a review on how the process went

The first one i bought got damage easily on the speed bag side and was not sturdy. i had to go to Home Depot to rig it to performance. i sold it to a less fortunate friend, cheap, to buy this new one which was constructed perfectly. I notice slight upgrades from the one i purchase 2 years ago. My 2 biggest issues is that the speed bad side is very loud. the platform is made of very thin melamine and the support beams to hold it sturdy is thin metal that resembles hacksaw blades (i fixed this with a 60lb bag of sand on top. My other thing is that the heavy bag side is made for 100lb. my bag is 170 so i had to make adjustments so the stand would not tip over. Otherwise it gets the job done well and without take large amounts of space . also it likes to slide but i put those rolled thin grip foam from home depot (2 x $7/ea)

I was pleased when we went to put it together and everything we needed was in the box. There were no scratch es or ware and tear. It didn't take long at all to assemble, but I do recommend the weights because you will need them to hold the stand down once the bag is placed on it.

I got the 80 lbs/100 lbs everlast bag to go with this stand. The set up is simple. It holds the bag without any problem. The only minor issue is the cheap plastic swivel for the speed bag. I've since replaced it with a stainless steel version, I'd recommend doing that if one is to get serious in using the speed bag. Overall I'd highly recommend this stand.

This stand is pretty awesome. Easy to put together and pretty durable. You do need some weights to hold it down especially if you are hitting the heavy bag pretty hard. My only thing I didnt like wasthe swivel on the speed bag stand. The swivel piece that goes in the center where the speed bag hangs is for beginners. After about two weeks of hitting the bag I surpassed the begginers stage and now I have to buy an intermediate swivel or expert swivel. Speed bag platform is on the thinner side so if you hit the bag side to side it vibrates the platform and slows down however with a really good swivel that wont matter. Just make sure you measure the height from your ceiling to floor, you need at least 87 inches or 7ft 3 inches!

This product is great, however, when I purchased this product I went by the dimensions for it. They were not correct. The dimensions posted on walmart.com at the time of purchase was a height of 84.13 inches. My basement measures from floor to ceiling at 86 inches. Meaning I should of had just under 2 inches of clearance. When I assembled the product I came to a horrifying realization that the product is actually 87 inches tall. Meaning the miss-representation of 3 inches against me caused me to cut a 4"x12" hole in my drywall so I could set the frame upright. I was very upset and irritated by the false information on this product. That being said, the product did say the right dimensions in the manual and the product itself is great. The information from Walmart, however, left a LOT to be desired from especially when purchasing large equipment sight unseen. (Within few week period I purchase a home gym, boxing equipment, treadmill, and some smaller accessories for each and this was the only problem I had with any of the equipment).
