Heating pad is hard...not soft at all but it puts out really nice heat. I have older cat that doesnt want to come inside so I make sure she is toasty at night during the winter. She doesn't mind at all that it is not soft. She even likes breakfast in bed now!

Our outside cat, who will not live inside but has our porch, two K&H heating pads, and a K&H winter house with a heated pad, is thriving in our upstate winters. I'd rather he would come inside, but he's lived outdoors for his whole life, and he's been very happy for the four years he has lived with us. He loves the pads.

I purchased the K&H Extreme Weather Heated Kitty Pad for an outside cat which was dropped off at my house this Spring. I did my research and so glad that I choose this brand. This Kitty Pad works extremely well and my cat doesn't want to come out of his house. The cover makes it extremely easy to remove and wash if needed. I am actually going to purchase a second pad for a friend.

This heated pet bed does exactly what I was hoping it would do. I keep it on my screened in porch for when the temperature gets uncomfortable for my kitty. He likes it and often takes naps on it. Now I don't worry if he is out on the porch in cold weather.

At first I thought it would not be warm enough for new born puppies because the actual heating pad inside is not as wide as the mat but when I tested it out with laying a pillow on it as per instructions it was nice and cozy. My puppies will be warm once they are born.

First of all everyone should know that this is a hard plastic board that plugs in to give heat like a heating pad, but you can't bend it and it is not soft. That said, it does keep the out door feral cat warm. She would not have anything to do with it the first day because she was looking for her soft bed. She now lays on it and when the weather gets really cold she will probably spend more time on it.

I bought this for a feral cat that I made a winter shelter for on our deck. I had tried a number of ways to make here comfortable in the Rhode Island winters but this was perfect. she snuggled up in her house and seemed quite content to stay their in some really bad weather. I checked it a few times when she came out and could feel that it was warm enough to keep her comfortable. It has been used 2 winters and is simple and safe to use, Very happy with this product

Have only had it about a week so far but seems to work nicely. Using it inside a house I made for a stray kitty. Always feels nice and warm on pad when he's been in there. He seems to love it!

My cat likes to lay on this occasionally while staring out the window or laying by the heating vent (aka his favorite spot in the house.) I wish he would use it slightly more than he does, however he is a finicky cat. All in all it was still worth the purchase.
