This was described appropriate for outdoor use. It is actually quite flimsy and would blow away in a breeze. Per the package, it is actually recommended to use in a barn, porch, or other covered space, so not actually for truly outdoor spaces.

Our cats are enjoying their new kitty lodge. It sirs up against out pet door. If it's bad weather they chill out in it.it is a great product and sure looks nice.

This is not as tall as i expected, but once i got over that, i realized it is just right for one, maybe two cats. It is not waterproof I believe, but it does provide protection from the elections. I took it out and it was already inflated so all i did was plug it in for 10 to 15 minutes to see if it heated up and it does. I wondered how warm it would be but then i realized that not only does the bottom provide constant warmth, the house itself seems to 'hold' the warm air in. This is PERFECT for a porch in winter for cats brave enough to be outside and in need of defense from the elements. I want to get one perhaps for the backyard cat, and to use t his i would want to put it on say some concrete sliders or granite blocks to keep it off the ground and from getting wet. Also would want to cover it in a waterproof tarp perhaps or stake one over it. IF you use the heated outside in the yard, make sure to wrap the plug in electrical tape to keep it from getting wet with snow and rain. To unplug, do it at the outlet. It doesn't appear to pull much wattage so I think the weight on the electric bill for a heated house will be minimal thanks to the warming bed inside and 'walls' that seem to contain the heat. If you don't get the heated, just build small enclosure and set this in, off the ground and that should provide some relief from cold weather.

I bought one last fall for the freals I feed. It worked well through our moderate South Texas winter. I just got a second one for another feral this fall/winter.

I have a stray cat, would adopt it but I have a German Shepard who is Jealous so I set up a safer area outside and got a home for her. She likes the House and spends time in there. Only change would be to get the heated version, I lined the inside with small blankets to offer some Warmth. Our area is not that cold in the 30s so I still worry but she seems very comfortable in this House. Great little house, padding in the walls. worth the Money. came in 3 days.

I bought two of these for my two cats that live in my garage throughout the winter. They arrived much nicer than I expected and my cats won't leave them, even when it's nice outside! They are not huge so I recommend one house per cat. Couldn't be happier with this purchase.

My indoor/outdoor cat spends most of her time inside the tent house. It was easy to put together. During a downpour, the inside did get wet, but repositioning the direction the door faced, solved that problem. We're all very satisfied with it.

The house was what I hoped for, constructed of materials that are water proof . This kitty House was supposed to be heated but it is not but still is a bargain . Very easy to put together . A well thought out product . just wish it was heated .
