A rare Out-of-Door Library book - published in the late 1800s-early 1900s, they're lovely documents of a world of birds, animals, and landscapes that have too often passed into history. Such is the case with no. 9 in the series, which combines Dallas Lore Sharp's Spring and Summer books into one volume; a teachers'/school edition. Scroll down for more details: Spring Of The Year/Summer was published between 1909-1912 (based on several copyright dates), by Houghton Mifflin, in association with The Riverside Press. 128 pages + a section of notes/suggestions for teachers. With illustrations by Robert Bruce Horsfall, this copy is in Good+ condition, overall - structurally sound & unmarked, with no dog-eared pages. The cover is moderately worn (spine/corners bumped; some fading/variation in color). While we are genuinely happy to share that these books have been reprinted, these original/antique editions deserve a special place in any serious nature/North American history library.
