A handmade cotton scrunchie in a woven plaid of burgundy, dusty pink and cream. The check is woven rather than printed, so the colour goes right through and the weave has a slight texture to it. Autumn colours without being a Christmas fabric - it carries from September through to spring. Sewn from quilting-weight cotton over a covered elastic core, about 5 inches across when laid flat. Gathered full enough to hold thick hair in one or two wraps without digging in. Soft enough to sleep in and to wear on a wrist all day. Machine wash cold, hang to dry.
