A handmade cotton scrunchie in classic red and white gingham. A medium check - large enough to read as gingham from a distance, small enough not to shout. It is the one that goes with denim, a white shirt and almost nothing else needing thought. Sewn from quilting-weight cotton over a covered elastic core, about 5 inches across when laid flat. Gathered full enough to hold thick hair in one or two wraps without digging in. Soft enough to sleep in and to wear on a wrist all day. Machine wash cold, hang to dry.
