A handmade cotton scrunchie in a very small black and white gingham check. The check is fine enough to read as grey from a distance, which makes this the most wearable one in the shop - it goes with work clothes, it goes with everything, and it does not announce itself in a meeting. Sewn from quilting-weight cotton over a covered elastic core, about 5 inches across when laid flat. Gathered full enough to hold thick hair in one or two wraps without digging in. Soft enough to sleep in and to wear on a wrist all day. Machine wash cold, hang to dry.
