Orbicular Ocean Jasper Cabochon – Marovato, Madagascar This exceptional cabochon was cut from old-stock Ocean Jasper from the famous Marovato deposit on the northwest coast of Madagascar. The stone displays classic orbicular structures with multiple concentric rings floating in translucent chalcedony, creating a beautiful natural pattern of cream, peach, and warm caramel tones. Material from the early Ocean Jasper veins is now considered old stock, as the original deposits have long since been depleted. The large size and balanced oval shape make this stone ideal for a statement pendant or collector piece. Hand cut and polished in my home lapidary studio.
